Cal Irvine at Cal Riverside

Only one team in the Big West has 10 wins and it's this Irvine squad, one that shoots 48% as a team. Fourth-year head coach Russell Turner's team has won five of its last seven games, including 46-44 in the Big West opener Thursday night at Long Beach State.  That victory snapped the 49ers' 26-game Big West home winning streak. Mamadou Ndiaye, UCI's 7-6 freshman center and the nation's tallest player this season, pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and had four blocked shots. The Anteaters are 6-2-1 ATS against the Big West and a dynamite defensive team, 6-0 ATS after scoring less than 50 points in their previous game. UCI ranks second in the nation in total assists with 293 and fifth in total blocks with 109.
