Central Michigan lost junior guard Marcus Keene, who averaged 30.0 points per game last season, as he decided to leave to play overseas. The Chippewas won their season opener 108-48 over Division II Siena Heights in an unlined game. Cecil Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and the Saints were held to 28.6 percent shooting. CMU obviously gets a much tougher test against Michigan, which beat North Florida 86-66 on Saturday. Duncan Robinson scored 21 points and Charles Matthews added 20 for the Wolverines, who shot 46.5 percent. Michigan lost three starters from last season and nine of its 12 players have little experience with the team. Central Michigan went UNDER three of its last five games last season, even with Keene.
