The Miami, Ohio Redbirds opened the season with a huge win vs. Dayton, and it inspired thoughts of this team being better than expected. Sadly, they have been worse. They have managed just four wins over Div-1 programs since then. While they topped the 70-point mark vs. Dayton in that opener, they have managed to do so just one more time all season vs. a Div-1 opponent. Central Michigan has been 0-8 in their last eight games, but has spent a lot of that time playing against the upper half of the conference, and will be more competitive here. Miami, Ohio's four wins since the Dayton opener have all come by 5 points or less, so they certainly are a vulnerable team here being asked to cover more. They have been a no-show vs. teams with a road winning percentage of less than .400 at 3-14-1 ATS in their last 18. Play on Central Michigan.
