This is a natural rivalry of in-state teams. The Titans’ program was once very good with a solid reputation took some hits, suffered player defections, and are now rebuilding. Their 7-4 start is somewhat tainted with many cupcakes on the early slate, and CMU has proven worthy of respect with a win over South Florida on the road. CMU presents a couple of 3-pointt shooters capable of keeping them close in Harman and Bitzer, bath leading scorers for the Chips, and both are over 44% from deep. The Chips sport a 6-1 ATS mark over teams with a winning record in their last seven, while the Titans are 7-21 ATS against losing teams. I'll go with Central Michigan in a tighter than expected game.
