BYU at UNLV

A huge Mountain West Conference clash is slated for tonight as the 14th ranked BYU Cougars come to Vegas to do battle with the Runnin Rebels who are 12-2 and unranked.  A win here will go a long way to changing that. The Cougars have a potential ALL-American in Jimmer Fredette who brings in a 24.1ppg scoring average to this one. There is a caveat to his game, however he has committed 43 turnovers on the season and in a close game vs a good team that could come back to haunt the Cougars. The Rebels rely on depth with eight of the top nine scorers shooting better than 45% from the field and have nine players all contributing better than four points per game. This one could be decided late, but the Cougars are not the same on the road, especially here where they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight trips here. I'll back UNLV on the moneyline.
