BYU at Nevada

This is the first game in the Las Vegas Classic, and it should be a good one between the Cougars and the Wolfpack. The Cougars have a lot of options and even with Taverlini struggling, they are off to a 10-1 start because they have a lot of options on the offensive end. This is a good shooting team that gets to the line and takes advantage as the top five scorers are all above 74% for the season. The Wolfpack has been poor against good teams, but have run off four straight vs. really weak competition. This is not the star-laden team of past seasons, and that has become apparent with losses to the good teams they have faced. The Cougars are playing at a different level right now and are backed by their history of showing a 41-20-1 mark when posted as a favorite in this range. The Wolfpack is a revealing 7-20 ATS in their last 27 vs. a .600 plus team. I'm going with BYU here.
