Virginia made 12-of-25 from long distance and held Hampton to 30.4 percent from the field. Butler beat Texas Tech 71-61 as Kellen Dunham led the Bulldogs with 23 points. Virginia has its best shooting team in several years averaging 48.9 percent from the floor and the Cavaliers, as usual, have the defensive edge.
