Butler at Penn State

Penn St. has had it easy in their first 2 games, opening with a pair of wins as a heavy favorite. They will have their stiffest challenge tonight vs 1-0 Butler who had an easy tuneup in their opener. Butler is off a disappointing 14-19 season. They started the season 3-11 ATS, but the team developed into a more competitive team and closed out last year at 11-4 ATS in their final 15 games. The Bulldogs however have just 2 returning starters and have a lot of holes to fill. Penn St. returns 4 starters from a year ago. The Nittany Lions closed last season with 16 spread wins in their final 21 games and should be better this year. They finished last year with 4 straight wins and covers as a single-digit home favorite. This should be a competitive game, but I think Penn St. at home has more experience to come away with a win in a close game. Make the play on Penn St. on the money line.
