Anyone who thought the loss of Morrison, and Batista spelled doom for the Zags was gravely mistaken (including us). All you had to do was watch this team vs N.C. and the talent, and level of play on this team is enormous. This actually looks like a more balanced team than any Gonzaga team in the past, and may be the one that finally breaks through. Butler has played well in its own right to get to this point. They already have wins vs Indiana, and Tennessee, so both will be coming in with big emotional wins, so that should be a balancing factor. We'd say from what we have seen so far, is that Gonzaga is playing better than any team in the country, and can score from everywhere on the court without anyone carrying the load, which was the case with most of the Zag's past teams. The Zags have 7 players averaging 8 ppg or more, and this has a double digit win written all over it.
