Buffalo at West Virginia

Buffalo opened their season with a tune-up vs. St. Francis-PA winning 82-67. They now travel to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers. The early takeaway from the Buffalo opener was the fact that they shot just 42.9% at home vs. an inferior team but played and won the game on defense where they allowed just 36% shooting against them. Bobby Higgins will finally be without G Jevon Carter, the team's leading scorer and two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and of the three returning starters, none averaged as many as 11 points per game. It may be difficult to find some consistent offense, but Huggins' teams are always solid on the defensive end. Take the UNDER.
