The Buffalo Bulls pulled off the biggest upset on the opening day of the round of 64, crushing a very strong Arizona team by 19 points. The Bulls did so by shooting a sizzling 55% from the field, holding their own on the glass, and knocking down 15 from deep at 50%. Teams that shoot 55%+ and 50% from three-point range while making at least 15 of them, win 88.5% of all games, so no surprise there. They will be hard pressed to duplicate that vs. Coach Calipari's freshman team that has finally put all the pieces together. Kentucky allows just 29% shooting from deep and on their opening round game without making a single three-pointer. Buffalo is going to get a lot of support as a Cinderella, but shooting the ball as well against Kentucky as they did vs. an Arizona team that plays no defense is not likely. Lay the points on Kentucky.
