This will be a tough spot for Bucknell, despite a 25-10 campaign last year. This team opened last year at Minnesota of the Big 10 and lost 70-58. They then got roasted by Vanderbilt of the SEC, 80-68. Bucknell shot just .348% in last year's opener against the Big 10, and the Bison are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, including 1-7 ATS in their last eight non-conference games. Purdue is off a 22-13 campaign (19-14 ATS) behind outstanding coach Matt Painter. His 2012 recruiting class is ranked in the Top-20 and consists of four players including three four-star prospects. The Boilermakers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. This is a young Purdue team, but Coach Painter has plenty of depth and bodies in the frontcourt, which will be the difference. The Boilermakers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall, including 4-1 ATS in their last five non-conference games. Play on Purdue.
