Bowling Green at Kent State

It has been a good start to the season for both Kent State and Bowling Green as the pair set to do battle in a MAC Conference tilt tonight. Kent State has had very few quality games, and they have held most opponents to low-scoring totals. The schedule is such that just two of their games have had posted totals, an indication of the softness of the slate to this point. The two teams they played, with quality, were UTEP and Kansas, and both produced season highs in points allowed. Bowling Green allowed just 35 to Chicago State in their last game, but Ferris State, yes Ferris State, hit them for 82, while South Florida netted 70 points in the game before. Overall, these teams represent better offenses than what they have seen, and both have given it when facing similar quality.
