Boston College at Maryland

Maryland has already suffered three losses but only one was a surprise. They had to favce UCLA and Missouri early on in tournament play and lost both of those. Their other loss was also a road game vs. Virginia Commonwealth. BC is 6-1, coming off a big win over St. Louis. They have had only two tests, splitting games with Michigan and Providence. Maryland is allowing just 60.5 ppg at home, holding opponetns to 34.4% from the field. This defense is going to be too much for BC. Boston College also plays good defense, but nothing like BC. And, the Terrapins are 19-4 in their last 23 home games vs. teams that allow 64 or less points per game. They are also 7-1 in the second of back-to-back home games the past three seasons and 19-2 under head coach Gary Williams at home off a win by 15+ points.
