Belmont at SE Missouri State

Not too long ago, Southeast Missouri State was a program that was lucky to see seven wins all season. They have definitely gotten better as indicated by their eight wins already this season. They thought they had a good chance to take on a Murray State team that lost a lot from their strong teams of the past couple of years, but they were denied. They will take on a similar opponent in Belmont, who isn't as good as the past two years, but are still good enough to go on the road and win at North Carolina. SE Missouri is better and is ready to take on the better mid-major programs. The Bruins have held their last two opponents to 67, and 62 points, and things won't be as easy for SE Missouri offensively here. Belmont is also 5-2 in their last seven vs. the Ohio Valley, and the Red Birds are misfiring after a loss where they are 5-14 ATS in their last 19. Belmont has better athletes, and will commit to the defensive end here, so I don't see this one piling up the points to get to lofty total. Take Belmont and play the UNDER in this one.
