Arkansas State at Georgetown

Georgetown lost by a point to Maryland even though the Hoyas had a terrible shooting day making just 16-of-50 shots, but they kept it close by getting to the free throw line 42 times and making 37 foul shots. L.J. Peak led Georgetown with 21 points and Isaac Copeland added 13 points and 13 rebounds.  Arkansas State opened with a 76-66 loss to North Dakota State with only one player, Devin Carter, scoring in double figures with 15 points. The Red Wolves then beat Central Baptist 100-57 with Rashad Lindsey scoring a team-leading 18 points. Arkansas State has a new coach and nine new players with no depth in the frontcourt and lost three starters from last year's squad. The game is being played in cozy McDonough Arena, so look for the Hoyas to cruise in this matchup.
