The Texas Tech Red Raiders were highly competitive during the few years that Coach Knight was at the helm, but won just 13 games two years ago and just eight last year. They will be improved this season, and are off to a 4-0 start vs. some iffy competition. The cupcakes have given them a chance to grow, and gain some confidence. They have played well in all facets of the game, shooting the ball very well, and have five players averaging 9.7 points per game or more. Tech is also hitting the boards hard, averaging 42.2 rebounds per game. Arizona is also 4-0 entering this contest, and is ranked No. 9 in the country. The Wildcats are just 1-7 straight-up under head coach Sean Miller vs. teams that average 40+ rebounds per game. The Cats are also 3-10 straight-up over that same span on the road following a double-digit win. Since Miller took over here, Arizona is also 10-16 straight-up on the road following back-to-back wins. They have Florida on the horizon, and they could easily get caught napping on the road vs. an under-the-radar Tech team. Despite just 21 wins in the last two seasons, Tech owns a pair of wins as a double-digit dog, and are not a laydown here for Arizona. Back Texas Tech on the moneyline.
