Arizona State at Nebraska

Nebraska has been tough to beat on its home-court when playing out of conference. The Cornhuskers are a remarkable 43-4 in this situation over the last five years. They have an inside presence in Aleks Maric (16.6 ppg, 9.2r pg). Nebraska has shot the ball very well thus far connecting on over 50% from the floor, and on the defensive end they have been equally tough, holding opponnents to 36.5%. This is a deep team, going nine deep without much of a dropoff. Arizona State lost 22 games last season and there is a very skilled recruiting class aboard, but this will be their first true road test of the year. The makings of a good nucleas are in place, but the process will be slow, and on the road will present significant challenges for Arizona State. So we will back the Huskers in their own building.
