Appalachian State at Louisville

It has been a shocking and rough start for the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville is 0-2 and the losses have come to Wright St. and Bellarmine, both at home. This will be just the third time in 20 years that Louisville lost consecutive home games, and is home again. The good news for the Cardinals in all three previous instances they won by 23 points or more. I can imagine that Louisville will be in an ornery mood tonight, as they have been in previous instances, and bring it. Appalachian St. is 2-0 but has played a couple of real cupcakes. Appalachian St. won 19 games a year ago, the most wins by the program since the 2009 season. The Mountaineers will take to the road for the first time, and they return just one starter from the 19-win team from last year. Louisville will not lose three in a row at home.
