Appalachian State at Akron

The Akron Zips have won 20+ games for well over a decade, but there are signs that this team may have some difficulty getting there this year. The Zips have opened the season at just 4-2, and have already lost to Dayton by 13 points, and were surprisingly blown out at Marshall by 22. The Zips usually strong offense has been held in check vs. some very weak teams as they managed just 67 points vs. Cleveland State 76 vs. Tennessee Martin, and 75 vs. Chattanooga. Appalachian State has played three of their last four to the UNDER, and have held five teams to fewer than 60 shots, including each of their last three. This is not the offense we are used to seeing at Akron, and against a team limiting possessions, this total will be tough to topple. Play on the UNDER.
