Alcorn State vs. Alabama State

Alabama State finished second Southwest Athletic Conference at 12-6, and had an 18-11 overall record. They certainly did not close the season in poor fashion, winning their final three games. The line here is puzzling as they take on an Alcorn State team that finished just .500 in the conference at 9-9, and a weak 12-18 overall. Alabama State won both the regular season meetings between these clubs, and although the Beavers were a .500 team in conference play, they finished just 4-7 in their last 11 games. Alabama State has proven to be the better team, not only head-to-head with two wins in the regular season, but in overall record, and in conference games.
