Alabama State vs. Texas Southern

The Alabama State Hornets have moved to 19-11 with their opening SWAC Conference win over Alcorn State by 13 points. Alabama State has now won four straight games, and is eyeing the championship as the team is playing as well as they have all season right now. Texas Southern is 17-14, and coming on with seven straight wins of their own, and split the two games this season between the teams with each winning at home. Alabama State has the better team in areas that count the most come tourney time, as they commit fewer turnovers, have a better defense, and perhaps most importantly, a deeper bench.
