Alabama State at Sam Houston

Sam Houston State saw their NCAA tournament hopes go up in smoke as they were beaten for the third time this season by Stephen F. Austin. They now take on 19-win Alabama State at home in what will likely be a letdown game for this program. Sam Houston did not play well down the stretch. After opening the season at 18-6, they really struggled in their last nine games at 5-4. The Hornets have been just the opposite, turning around a 4-5 start by going 15-7 over their last 22 games. This is going to be a tough game for Sam Houston State, getting off the mat after a big loss to SF Austin, and the Bearcats are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 outside the conference.
