Akron vs. Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State won just 15 games a year ago. But, the talent level is rising fast and they will do a lot better this season, including springing some surprises. After recruiting McDonald's All-American La’Bryan Nash a year ago, the Cowboys now have added another McDonald's All-American in Marcus Smart. Travis Ford has reloaded this team and they will be highly competitive. Akron has been a fixture at or near the top of the MAC for six years running, and should be a threat to win it this season. There is however, a huge difference between a good team in the MAC vs. a good team in the Big-12. The Zips have already dropped a game to Coastal Carolina 74-70, and will be going into the deep end of the pool here vs. a team restocked with talent. Play on Oklahoma State.
