Akron at Texas Arlington

Akron has won four of its last five games following its impressive 78-75 win at Houston as a 7.5-point underdog in the NIT opening round. Isaiah Johnson led the Zips with 21 points and his team was 23-of-30 from the free throw line compared to 14-of-17 for the Cougars. Texas Arlington defeated BYU 105-89 while shooting 55.3 percent and Drew Charles led the Mavericks with 28 points and Kevin Hervey added 22 points. The Mavericks don't expect to keep that pace as they shoot only 45.6 percent from the field on the season and average 77.2 points.
