Akron at Ohio

The Akron Zips have built a fairly sustainable program in the MAC, and although they were expected to be down some this year, they have maintained their prowess at 15-6 on the season. They sit in a tie for the MAC East lesd with Kent State, so every game for this team becomes large from here on out. Ohio, University is 9-12 and are not even as good as their record. They posted some soft early season wins as they are just 2-6 in their last eight games, and have not shown any improvement since early on. This is a game that the Zips can ill afford to be a no-show and they are just too talented to let one slip away here against a mediocre, at best, Bobcats squad. The Zips have played like a winner at 5-1 ATS in their last six, while the inconsistent Bobcats are a woeful 5-22 ATS following a spread win. Play on Akron.
