The Tip-off Showcase in Dallas is where the Colorado Buffalos and the Baylor Bears will get things started this season. Tad Boyle has done an excellent job at Colorado, and the program has been heading in the right direction since he took the reigns. After a pair of trips to the Big Dance, Baylor settled for the NIT last year, but went out in style as they won the NIT Championship. The Bears have a talented big man in the middle to cause some problems for Colorado in 7-1 center Isaiah Austin (13 points per game, and 8.3 rebounds per game last year). That is a problem for the Buffs who lost Andre Roberson to the NBA, as he had the ability to control the paint. I think the Buffalos get exploited inside by Austin, and I will ride with Baylor in this one.
