If quarterback is an important position in the NFL, this game is an easy pick. Russell Wilson won the Seattle starting quarterback position during the preseason, beating out Matt Flynn. When you sit a guy like Flynn who has the name and garnered big free agent bucks, you have to be pretty damn good. Wilson was overlooked by many people in college due to his diminutive size, but his production at Wisconsin or in the preseason was anything but small. Wilson set the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency (191.8) and delivered a Big Ten title and Rose Bowl birth. Arizona will once again place the offense in the hands of John Skelton, with Kevin Kolb waiting in the wings. The pair combined for 22 INTs a year ago, so neither has proven capable of running a mediocre offense effectively without turning the ball over. It's pretty apparent that neither of the quarterbacks is a long-term answer. Seattle was coming on strong late last season finishing 5-3, with the three losses by a combined 11 points, and one of them was in OT. The Cardinals won eight games a year ago, but went 4-0 in OT, so their record otherwise was 4-8. If you reverse that 4-0 they could just as easily have been 4-12. Play on the Seahawks.
