New Orleans at Jacksonville

Young Jacksonville finally turned a corner last season, overachieving all year and making it to the AFC Championship game. Now there is less to prove, with the focus on staying healthy. At the all-important QB position the Jaguars have huge flaws for this game, with a rotation of Blake Bortles, Cody Kessler and Tanner Lee. Bortles only threw five passes for 16 yards in last year's NFL preseason opener, and only seven times in Week 1 of 2016. They face a New Orleans team that also won its division last fall, a well coached, talented all-around group. The Saints have an explosive spread offense while the young defense took major steps forward, improving to #15 in passing yards allowed, #16 in rush defense, #10 in points surrendered. That defense even impressed last preseason, allowing 10 points per game, making this a great matchup to back the talented dog. Play New Orleans.
