The Indianapolis Colts have already surpassed their win total from a year ago. They now head to Tennessee to do battle with the Titans who have won two straight games after starting off the season 1-4. Andrew Luck has been the difference for the Colts as he is the first rookie QB ever to exceed 1,500 yards and win three of his first six games. There has however been a noteworthy difference in how the Colts have fared on the road as opposed to at home. The road is not a kind place in the NFL, especially for rookies. While the Titans will be seeking their third straight home win, the Colts will be playing on the road for just the third time this season. They were humiliated in the first two by combined scores of 76-30. The good news for Tennessee is that Chris Johnson scampered for 195 yards last week, and after not finding the end zone all season he scored twice. He seems to have turned a corner and if he runs like that on Sunday, the Colts could be in for a long day. Matt Hasselbeck delivered the game winning TD with a minute to play last week, and managed the offense to perfection. The Colts have struggled vs. losing teams where they are now 3-13 ATS in their last 16. And, they have not fared well here as they are 1-5 ATS in their last six trips to Tennessee. Take the Titans (buy a half point down to -3 with heavier juice).
