The Cleveland Browns got a big win at home last week in taking down the San Diego Chargers in a defensive battle 7-6. They will have to make a better effort against a balanced and explosive Baltimore team this week. Pick your poison here as Joe Flacco passed for 356 yards in week four against the Browns. At the same time the Cleveland run-stop unit ranks No. 29 in the league so we'll see a heavy dose of Ray Rice in this one too. The Ravens’ defense is a fraction of what it once was, for sure. However, I'm sure that adjustments were made during the bye week to shore-up a front seven that has been pounded for over 200 yards per game on average over their last three. Trent Richardson had 124 yards vs. San Diego, but Baltimore stopped him cold earlier this year, as he went for less than 50 on 14 totes. As a road favorite, the oddsmakers peg Baltimore as the better team, and better teams seem to benefit more from their bye week than poor teams. The proof is in the fact that road favorites coming off their bye week are 68-38 ATS. Under John Harbaugh, the Ravens are 13-5 ATS on the road following an ATS loss. Take a rested and ready Baltimore team ready to make a statement that they aren't yet dead.
