Arizona at Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings are a mess. They have a coach that leaves question marks behind every game, and they have an aging QB that is showing just how old he is on the field. He has been ineffective healthy, and now he is really ailing. Then there is the whole Randy Moss fiasco. Bring him in for a second time, and give up a very important draft pick and let him go a couple weeks later. Childress has lost the confidence of fans, and more importantly, of his team. Despite the "potential" of this team, the reality is that they are 2-5 and yet they lay over a field goal here. Arizona has picked up the offense over the last three weeks averaging 25 points per game. They have now put points on the scoreboard in nine straight quarters. A good sign for the Cardinals is their 150+ rushing yards last week as they are 20-8 ATS following a game where they top the 150 mark on the ground. Under Ken Wisenhunt, the Cards are 17-8 ATS following a game in which 50+ was scored. Under Brad Childress, the Vikes are just 2-9 ATS vs. good rushing teams (those averaging 4.5+ yards per carry). The Vikings don't deserve to be a TD+ favorite right now as they have only beaten one team by more than a TD all season. I like Arizona to cover this large number. I also like the OVER in this game. Arizona is 37-24 OVER under Wisenhunt and 39-15 to the OVER in their last 54 games as a dog and 47-28 OVER in dome games (25-13 OVER under Wisenhunt). The Vikings are 26-11-2 to the OVER following an ATS loss and under Brad Childress, they are 15-4 OVER when coming off a road loss. I like Arizona to cover in a high scoring game.
