New Orleans vs. Phoenix

Phoenix and New Orleans are a pair of under-the-radar teams that don't carry a lot of public expectations, but each may be ready to compete at a higher level than expected this season. They both enter this contest at 2-1 on the season. New Orleans has faced the tougher schedule thus far, and I think they are a bit ahead of where the Suns are right now. Phoenix has struggled with consistency, and after scoring 115+ points and playing at home, they are just 8-21 ATS in their last 29, as well as 5-15 ATS at home following a pair of road games. Van Gundy teams are an amazing 72-39 ATS vs. Pacific Division opponents in his last 111 coached against them. I like the Pelicans in this one. Make the play on New Orleans.
