Texas at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers desperately needed game three or they were pretty much cooked in the ALCS against the Rangers. This is a team that has thrived at home down the stretch where they were an impressive 18-5 in their last 23 games, so getting them on the plus side of the line is big value. Ricky Porcello gets the ball for Detroit.  He pitched two scoreless innings in relief and did a good job in his only other start vs. the Rangers this year allowing 1 run over six innings of work.  The Rangers starter Matt Harrison has pitched well this season, but has not fared well vs. the Tigers where he has lasted just nine total innings in two starts and has yielded seven earned runs (eight total). The Tigers are doing their best offensive work at home vs. lefthanders now 51-24 against port-siders in their last 75. The Tigers are also 33-15-4 to the UNDER in their last 52 as a home dog. The Rangers have been 11-4 to the UNDER in the last 15 Harrison starts as a favorite. The Rangers have issues playing in Detroit where they are now just 4-17 in their last 21 played here and there has just been one over played between these clubs in Detroit in their last Nine meetings.
