Minnesota has been getting healthy on offense and has a good arm on the hill in Kevin Slowey. Like many Twins’ hurlers, he has exceptional control. He’s walked one in 14+ innings this season and he’s been great in his career against the Indians at 6-2 with a 3.52 ERA, walking six in 61 innings to go along with 61 strikeouts. The Twins are 7-2 in Slowey’s last nine starts and 17-8 in his last 25 starts vs. American League Central. This is a good hitter’s park in Cleveland and Minnesota likes facing lefty David Huff, who is 3-5 with a 5.52 ERA against them. The Indians are 3-13 in Huff’s last 16 starts overall and the Twins are 5-1 in Slowey’s last six starts against the Indians, making this a great spot for the dog. Play the Twins.
