Top pick: #7 (CUZAN) (3-1) - Consistent stalker has gone 17-3-9-2 racing on conventional dirt and rallied to win a 3l local allowance on Nov. 4 going 6 furlongs. It was his second off a Dave Wolochuk claim and he has him nicely spotted this afternoon. He's worked well since and is ideally draw outside of several front end types.
2nd pick: #6 (Dakota Mac) (6-1) - Grey gelding tired here facing tougher Nov. 4. He had to rush up after a poor getaway in what was his first off a Bob Diodoro claim and a subsequent 9-week freshening. He's worked very fast twice since that return effort and is getting blinkers on. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Najran Breeze) (8-1) - Grey 4-year-old gelding tracked, bid, and tired here on Nov. 4 racing for a $20K tag. It was his first since Aug. 29 at Canterbury Downs when he easily defeated "Dakota Mac." Can impact at long odds.
4th pick: #5 (Songandbullet) (8-1) - Most of his success has come going longer but this strong finisher almost always puts in a late charge no matter what the distance. He has a pair of local bullet breezes since finishing 3rd here in his local debut Nov. 5 and must be left in the mix.
