Top pick: #2 (AMONG THE STARS) (3-1) - Washington bred filly has done good work on conventional dirt (6-2-1-2) and finished a solid second here facing a bit weaker on Nov. 11th. Claimed that day by a fine small barn (Wade Rarick), and he has her working bullets for this attempt. She gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Pukaberry) (2-1) - The probable favorite, grey filly has back class and is dropping down in class for her first since Nov. 3rd. She's moving from a high percentage barn (Justin Evans) to a winless one, but still must be considered a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Red Constitution) (8-1) - Nicely bred filly is working extremely fast for her first since Nov. 3rd. Another with back class, daughter of "Bernardini" is a win candidate at a square price if she runs to her recent am breezes.
4th pick: #7 (Rockin Cowgirl) (5-1) - Always the main speed, filly went wire-to-wire here facing weaker Dec. 2nd. A career best from a "figure" stand-point, she's now 6-2-1-1 locally, and had a big bullet three-furlong work just four days ago.
