Top pick: #5 (DELTA BRAVO) (2-1) - Lightly-raced and well bred gelding just missed here for an $8,000 tag going 5-furlongs on Nov. 11. A career best it came in his second back from a two month break. Trainer Eric Kruljac stretches him out, veteran Scott Stevens stays aboard, and this 3-year-old by "Kafwain" gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Mayan Moon) (7-2) - Speedy sort tired last out after setting a solid and contested pace. It was his first back from a nine week freshening and he hails from the barn of leading trainer Bob Diodoro. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Juan Tabo) (5-1) - Gelding tired late to finish third here at this tag and trip on Nov. 11. He moves from an outside post to the rail and races for a good small outfit (Jim Christenson).
4th pick: #2 (Right Idea) (6-1) - Longshot is stretching out in distance after a pair of even local efforts in sprints. He has some ability but has had problems breaking cleanly in four of his six outings. Can impact with an alert start.
