Top pick: #6 (MOTOR 'N MONA) (7-2) - Well bred filly has been freshened up since late October when she missed by less than a length here at this tag going 5-furlongs. Daughter of "Discreetly Mine" is working sharply for her return and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Ally Quien) (9-2) - Stalker moves up a bit in class after a pair of competitive back-to-back starts here for a $5,000 tag. She's been a better horse since blinkers went on and must be considered a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Posative Potential) (8-1) - Debuting home bred has some fine works on view. Filly had a pair of sharp back-to-back half-mile breezes here earlier this month and need not be much to factor against these.
4th pick: #9 (Cup of Soup) (4-1) - Daughter of grass runner "Einstein" enters off a pair of even efforts facing males at this tag. She's back in with her own sex and had a fine half-mile breeze on the Dec. 27.
