Top pick: #8 (FORESTRY'S DELIGHT) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and well-bred, she finished 5th of 7, beaten three lengths racing for a $6,250 tag on Feb. 17. Rounding to form, good barn (Jon Nance) drops her to a new low and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #7 (Monkey Wrench) (5-1) - She's by the "The Green Monkey," who sold for a world record price for a yearling some years back, but proved a big "dud" when racing. Filly was an easy winner here at this tag on Feb. 12 in her best since coming off a 7 1/2 month layoff in early Jan. Speed/stalker fits on "figures" and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Tricky Linda) (6-1) - Veteran mare won at this tag and trip on Feb. 23 and has a fine overall record on this dirt 13-3-4-1. Cal.-bred has proven in the past that she can string good starts together and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #1 (IKeyed to Rock) (5-1) - She rallied while wide to finish third here going 5-furlongs on Feb. 7 and draws the rail for this stretch-out in distance. Don't just dismiss.
