2nd pick: #8 (Calesita Bay) (3-1) - Mare has gone 16-2-1-4 on the grass, and last out finished fast to miss by a 1/2 length racing here at this level going 7.5-furlongs on Nov. 24th. The extra 1/6th she travels today is in her favor, and she's the main danger.
3rd pick: #5 (Blaise of Light) (9-2) - Lightly raced filly is stretching out around two-turns and racing on the grass, both for the first time. She has ability, is in a good barn (Dan Morgan), and has taken betting action in almost all of her starts.
4th pick: #7 (Halo's Ray of Dawn) (6-1) - She was only a 1/2 length back of "Calesita Bay" here Nov. 24th in her first ever on the grass. She followed that up with an even effort last out facing a bit tougher and drops back down on a quick turnaround (nine days).
