Top pick: #7 (COME ON ALANNAH) (7-2) - Filly was a winner here at this tag and trip on Nov. 9 as she cleared the 2l condition. It was her first local dirt appearance and both career victories have been on that surface. Speed/stalker gets a slight edge right back.
2nd pick: #5 (Knife Fork Zoom) (3-1) - Lightly-raced Cal. bred was a winner here in her local debut on Oct. 31. Nice overall effort and the figure earned matches that of "Alannah." dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (Dolphin Shorts) (5-1) - Chicago invader enters off a pair if even efforts at Hawthorne where she was never really involved. Daughter of "Langfuhr" had been competitive in four straight at Canterbury Downs prior to moving to Illinois. No-speed type would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #3 (Grazen Gold) (6-1) - Interesting grey filly showed little here at this level on Oct. 25. However it was her first off a nine week break and this afternoon it's apprentice Walker and Van Dyke on. Three-year-old is capable of impacting with her best and in her maiden win at Canterbury in late June she earned the highest figure any of these has reached to date.
