It was her first race since early October of 2015. Her grass record stands at 6-2-3-0 and she's working very fast for this attempt.
2nd pick: #3 (Mint Julep Taffy) (7-2) - Mare seems to thrive on keeping busy and has finished second in three of her last four here on the grass. In her only sub par outing she raced both wide and evenly in a stakes Feb. 11. Stalker fits, is in shape, and leading rider Scott Stevens is back aboard following a one race absence.
3rd pick: #1 (Bullicious) (6-1) - Lightly-raced filly is trying the grass and a two-turn trip both for the first time. One-run type has the rail, is bred for the turf, but this is a tough spot. May grab a share at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Major Threat) (4-1) - On the sidelines since Jan 9, she has ability and broke her maiden on the local grass Oct 24. Working nicely and she's a factor with her 'A' game if ready.
