Top pick: #7 (DON'TMESSWITHNESS) (3-1) - Northern Cal invader is the field's most experienced maiden. Filly has been competitive in several starts and two back she finished second on conventional dirt at Fresno. She's dropping to a new low and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Carson's Secret) (5-2) - Heavily bet when debuting here at this tag going 5-furlongs Nov. 23. She broke sharply, set a fast pace, and tired late to finish third. Claimed that day by Dale Greenwood he brings her pack quickly and at the purchase price. A win candidate from her inside post.
3rd pick: #8 (Ally Quien) (7-2) - She ran a career best last out in the same race where "Carson's Secret" finished third. This filly tracked early, bid to a clear lead, and stayed on to check in second, a bit over three lengths better than that rival. An obvious threat.
4th pick: #6 (Misscharlypotatoes) (5-1) - New Mexico bred also exits the same last race as both "Secret" and "Ally." Filly ran evenly and was beaten five lengths. It was her first in 80-days and it would not take much improvement to factor today.
