Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (TOMMY GROSSMAN) (7-2) - Gelding is facing winners for the first time after breaking his maiden here going a mile on the grass Nov. 27. It was his first ever on the turf and this 3-year-old by 'Bodemeister' can win right back.
2nd pick: #2 (Hansen's Victory) (9-2) - Speedy and lightly-raced, he's stretching out in distance while trying the grass, both for the first time. Gelding just missed here at this level sprinting on the dirt Nov. 24 and is a serious threat to win this in wire-to-wire fashion.
3rd pick: #3 (Seeking Bea) (15-1) - Longshot moves up in class after rallying to finish fourth here on the grass facing weaker Dec. 6. It was his second start back off a three month break and he's a late factor at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (Cool Hand Lucas) (5-1) - Lightly-raced, he was an easy maiden winner here at this trip Nov. 5 in what was his first ever on the grass. In his follow up Dec. 2, he finished a non-threatening fourth after a poor break and a very wide trip. Calif. bred has the rail and must be left in the mix.
