(# 1) Marine Recruit - Gelding by Patton looked like a new horse in first start of the season off of a layoff. Granted, he was only beating maidens but he did it impressively and well within himself. Showed some promise against some tough maiden specials at Delaware last summer. Has had a month to recover from his last for first try with winners.

(# 7) Sharp - Enjoyed a productive 2006 against some high priced claimers at Monmouth and the Meadowlands. Fits well in here, gets Lezcano as Centeno goes to the #6 (Golden Flame). Will be laying just off the pace.

(# 6) Golden Flame - Another who just broke his maiden with an impressive performance. Centeno sticks and colt has shown versatility in either setting or attending the pace.
