(# 9) CANOPY - One of two Bill Mott trained runners who are entered in this contest. They will be the top choices in here though not sure which one will go favored. Canopy improved when allowed to run on grass in third lifetime start. He may have a bit more speed than his stablemate. Sharp work at Payson Park on Dec.17th. Mott reaches for Lezcano here. Like the other Mott entered, has taked her share of betting action.

(# 10) Vowel - The "other" Mott filly shows four competitive tries in four races, three of which have come on grass. Only one listed work since shipping south but she was in racing condition so that shouldn't be a negative. She has found trouble in several of her races so an alert break to get position would help.

(# 6) Bank on Silver - Competed in off the turf race right here at Tampa after running twice at Calder on the turf. Both of those races produced efforts that make her one of the more likely ones in this contest.
