Top pick: #6 (MAJOR ART) - English-bred import kept only the best of company in his native land before coming to the states and has finally acclimated himself and comes off an entry-level allowance here on March 18. Working fast since and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (The Flying Whizzer) - Longshot was stakes placed in a couple of start last year on the east coast and had some problems in his local debut going "down the hill" on March 10. Working fast since, runs second off a 5 1/2 month break, and trainer Vlad Cerin will stretch him out in distance. Threat at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Surrey Star) - Irish-import ran poorly last out in the San Felipe (G2), but had been competitive in his previous start in the San Vincente (G2). Has some talent and is a late threat.
