Top pick: #7 (DIVERSY HARBOR) (4-1) - Daughter of "Curlin" has been sharp in all her starts (4-2-1-1), and last out finished a close up third here in the "Honeymoon" stakes (G2)on May 4. Strong finisher raced a bit "rank" that afternoon and gets a rider upgrade this afternoon from apprentice Van Dyke to "Hall of Famer" Mike Smith. Filly gets a slight edge in a competitive contest.
2nd pick: #3 (Little Journey) (6-1) - French import has been competitive in all her outings (7-2-1-4), and grey filly finished third of nine, beaten 1 1/2 lengths at Churchill in the $171K "Edgewood" stakes on May 2. It was her first in this country, and she should love this 10-furlong trip.
3rd pick: #2 (Nashoba's Gold) (5-2) - She's a 1/2 length short of being undefeated (4-3-1-0), and it was "Diversy" that beat her that day. Grey filly by "Smart Strike' has turned the tables on that rival in her last pair, and home-bred must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #4 (Sweet Bliss) (5-1) - Wygod home-bred by "Street Cry" split "Diversy" & "Nashoba" last out in a solid effort. One run type has worked nicely since and the longer distance today should be in her favor.
