Top pick: #6 (ITALIAN HARMONY) (7-2) - Filly hasn't seen action since the summer of 2012 when she showed early speed facing tougher in both starts. Home-bred took money in each of those outings and is working nicely for her return. She has a new trainer (Oscar Garcia) and he drops her price in half. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #10 (Rich in Tradition) (4-1) - Professional maiden has been competitive many times in the past at this tag and in many of those faced tougher fields. She's finished second in four of her last six local starts and is a win candidate this afternoon.
rd pick: #1 (Hollywood Producer) (9-2) - One of four making their debuts, filly has a fine series of local works showing and breaks from the rail. Her trainer (Walt Solis) is much better than his 2014 record and this filly must be left in the mix.
th pick: #4 (Getaway Keys) (3-1) - Another making her debut, she's been in steady training at San Luis Rey Downs and is in a good first out barn (Pete Miller 21%). Fla.-bred need not be anything special to factor in her first appearance.
th pick: #2 (Doheny) (15-1) - She had a wide and even trip when debuting here at this level April 27th. Filly had a tough outside post that day, draws better, and trainer Bob Bean adds Lasix.
